Masjid Andalusia in Bandar Laguna Merbok is one of the significant mosques in Sungai Petani, Kedah. The location of the mosque in Sungai Petani, which contains multiple tourist attractions such as Bujang Valley, The Carnivall Waterpark and Gunung Jerai, makes it an ideal place for visitors to stop by to see the beauty of the mosque.
The mosque was built on top of a waqf land sized 1.32 acres. The full capacity of the mosque is about 3,200 people.. The construction of Phase 1 of this mosque began in 28th June 2011, costing around RM2.95 million. Phase 1 of this mosque was finished in December 2012 and the first prayer was conducted on Friday, 5th July 2013.
