Masjid Kristal, situated on Wan Man Island in the Terengganu River, is famed for its striking glass and steel design, earning it the nickname “Crystal Mosque.” Part of the Islamic Heritage Park, it is a symbol of Kuala Terengganu. The mosque features a large central dome, eight smaller domes, four slender minarets, and turrets. Its gleaming exterior reflects sunlight by day and glows with colorful lights at night. Inside, the modern design includes white and gold tones, Islamic calligraphy, and a carpeted prayer hall. It also offers WiFi, making it Malaysia’s first “intelligent” mosque.
