Masjid An Nur Temasya Glenmarie is located at Jalan Perintis, Temasya Industrial Area, Shah Alam, Selangor. The mosque, which was built on 9th December 2014, is fully completed by the end of March 2017 with the cost of construction being about RM 12.3 million. Masjid An Nur Glenmarie was inaugurated by DYMM Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah on 2nd June 2017.
The mosque’s design features a modern contemporary Islamic design and the mosque can accommodate up to 2,500 worshippers at one time. The Masjid An Nur Glenmarie is one of the continuing commitment of I&P Group to the development of the community and people’s needs to fulfil the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR). The mosque, An Nur, which means ‘light’ in Arabic is expected to be used actively by residents around the Temasya Glenmarie area. The mosque’s activities are not specific only for religious occasions, but also activities that benefit the locals.
Complete with the facilities of two units of accommodation for imams and muezzins, it also featured a guest house, a two-storey tahfiz dormitory, a waqf cottage and a badminton court. There is also an air- conditioned prayer hall. The mosque has a large, open space and its walls are made of glass, which made it to appear wide and very bright from the outside.
