Description

The mosque is the third Chinese-style mosque in Malaysia after the ones in Kelantan (Masjid Cina, Rantau Panjang) and Perak (Masjid Muhamadiah, Ipoh).
The mosque is designed with a unique Chinese architecture with pagoda and Chinese calligraphy from a combination of architectural design of several mosques in Beijing , Shanghai and Xi’an in China . It

Muslim Association (PERTIM). The mosque construction budget was approved by Deputy Prime
Minister Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Yassin in October 2011. The construction started in August 2012
by Warisan Harmoni Construction Sdn. Bhd. and completed in April 2014.

The construction of the mosque cost MYR 7.5 million, with MYR 5.9 million provided by the federal
government and the remaining by PERTIM and the public. With PERTIM now having more than 1,000
members, it will organise activities such as dumpling-making competition, lantern festival and forums. A
Chinese Muslim community will be developed with shops and stalls and where community members
can share their rich Chinese culture and practices.
