Negeri Sembilan is easily reachable through major highways like the North-South Expressway (NSE) and LEKAS. The state capital, Seremban, is approximately 68km from Kuala Lumpur and 270km from Johor Bahru via the NSE. Seremban is also connected to Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley through the electrified commuter rail network, KTM Komuter. Although there is no airport in Negeri Sembilan, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is just 57km away, and direct bus services link the airport to Seremban. Ferry connections between Port Dickson and Dumai in Indonesia are available.
Negeri Sembilan has a reliable network of buses and taxis for both local and inter-town travel. The main public transport hub in Seremban is Terminal One, situated in the town centre. Taxis are accessible at the Seremban Railway Terminal, Terminal One, and the Port Dickson Bus Terminal. Bus services from Terminal One in Seremban cover routes to towns like Kuala Pilah, Kuala Kelawang, Port Dickson, Nilai, and Tampin. The Seremban Municipal Council also provides free shuttle services around town every 20 minutes from 6.30 am to 8.00 pm.
