Understanding Muslim-friendly Tourism

Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) is pleased to present a webinar entitled Understanding Muslim-friendly Tourism, and provide insight into the potential of Islamic Tourism within the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) institution.

To cater to the growing interest of industry players in tapping into the Muslim travel market, the event will seek to establish common understanding towards developing IMT-GT as a sub-region for Islamic Tourism.

The webinar is set for this coming 19 August for government officials and private sector of the IMT-GT member states. Dato’ Dr. Noor Zari bin Hamat, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, and Chairman of ITC, will address the audience in his opening remarks.

The panel of speakers who will be presenting are:

  2. Mdm. Fakheezah Borhan, Senior Assistant Director, Standardisation Division, Department of Standards Malaysia
  3. Datuk Mohd Ilyas Zainol Abidin, Executive Chairman, Ample Prospects Sdn Bhd
  4. Mr. Ahmad Faizal Iskandar, Director of Sales – Wholesale, Sunway City Kuala Lumpur Hotels, Malaysia
