Feast your eyes on the elegant styles and trending looks of generations past at the exhibition on “Busana: Traditional Costumes of the Malay World”.

It is a special exhibition dedicated to preserving and showcasing the shared cultural heritage of the Malay world, spanning Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, southern Thailand, and the Philippines.

The exhibition focuses on the sophisticated artistry of traditional attire, high fashion, and looks that adorned our forefathers (and foremothers!)

These are the Armanis, the Chanels and the Guccis of yesteryears from the Southeast Asian region, so look out for:

– Rare ikat limar
– Intricately dyed batik
– Fine tenun weaves
– Noble telepuk embellishments
