Description

Masjid Al Munawwarah, Shah Alam is located at Jalan Kemensah, Section 27, Shah Alam, Selangor. This mosque is the first mosque in Section 27, Shah Alam and can accommodate for several congregation groups around the area. The mosque was built on 28th March 1999 and was inaugurated on 13rd July 2001. The inauguration was done by DYMM Tengku Idris Shah Ibni Sultan Sallehuddin Abd Aziz Shah Al-Haj, the Regent of Selangor. The mosque is characterized by Malay tradition and a slight touch of modern Indonesian design. There are classrooms within this mosque for the purpose of conducting Arabic classes for the locals. Other facilities include parking spaces that can accommodate up to 300 cars and a large outdoor space for festive activities such as Eid celebration.
