Description

Masjid Diraja Sultan Ala’eddin in Kampung Bandar, Kuala Langat, is a Royal Mosque of Selangor built in 1908 during the reign of Sultan Ala’eddin Suleiman Shah and officially inaugurated in 1926. Influenced by the Deli Sultanate’s architecture, it stands near Istana Bandar and Bukit Jugra. Recognized for its historical importance, it was gazetted as an ancient monument in 1981 and declared a National Heritage Site in 2008. Today, it remains an active place of worship and a proud symbol of Islamic heritage for the local community.
